Phonte needs to write a book or get his own show Hyphen. He has incredible way of illustrating the everyday shit most people are thinking without being polarizing. His rant on why your college years are not the best years of your life are hilarious, but so true! It’s amazing how that belief is perpetuated like its the gospel. While college/university are a lot of fun, Phonte is right; your broke, still figuring out out what you gonna make of yourself career-wise, and the roommate thing too. I call it more self discovery than anything else.
The idea of reminiscing on your college years later in life (like it was the best time ever) when your in your 30’s and older is depressing as Tay pointed out. Ironically, there are people like this…lol
ps, His imitation of Aaron Hall and Keith Sweat is pure comedy!

hahaha, his impression is definitely on point. I dunno about the college stuff though, I’m kind of conflicted on that. I seem to only remember the positives in my life, so I always look back on things and think how great they were. I definitely do that with college…then later I remember all the all-nighters writing papers, going to parties with morons, dealing with uncomfortable living conditions, etc. There are certain parts of college I definitely wish I could have back…namely the cafeteria and having all the food pre-prepared hahah

Co-sign on the food prep! Cooking gets annoying sometimes.
