New visuals from Talib and Hi-Tek for another track off their upcoming Reflection Eternal reunion album. On first listen, I think I prefer “Just Begun,” but this is dope as well. The video effects are ill…Punit Dhesi and Steven Tapia did a great job here.
Thanks to some horrible virus issues on my PC, my life sucks right now. While I desperately try to save the important files off that comp, I wanted to toss up Shafiq Husayn’s new video for “Lil’ Girl.” Not only is a great record and dope clip, but it’s the first ever music video directed by the 5-C’s own GregTheDude! The homey from college is doing big things…congrats Greg!
And now if you’ll excuse me, it’s back to tinkering with my desktop comp. Oh PC, why can’t you run like this new MacBook Pro?

Brand new video off Chali’s Fish Outta Water, in stores now on Decon Media. While most people know that the big homey Jake One produced this, little known fact: Sound Session’s very own J. Moore is on the background vocals on this hook. That’s riiiiiiiiight!
Since my day job works with music videos, I often get a sneak peak at clips before they get released. We got this one in last week and since I’ve always loved the track (the beat is banoodles), I was hoping the visuals would live up to it. Thankfully, Todd Angkasuwan, one of the illest up and coming directors in the game, did the song justice and killed it with the one take approach.

Generally speaking, projects with this level of corporate organization/sponsorship turn out extra corny, but thanks to the talent assembled for the latest Pepsi Mic Pass video, this one came out dope. All the live stuff was shot down in Austin at SXSW and you can see all sorts of folks in the background. Town homies will recognize Dow Jones and Jake One especially…
Tunji just shot over this footage of Talib joining Mos for a little impromptu Blackstar performance at the House of Blues from last night down in Los Angeles. Is it strange that hearing “Respiration” drop still gives me goosebumps a decade after it first came out?

He’s back! Thanks to literally one of the only good things Bush ever did, John Forte has been pardoned and is already back in the studio. Here’s a quick little video of John and Talib rocking over Kanye’s “Homecoming.” People may think of John’s verse on “We’re Tryin’ To Stay Alive” and forget his other stuff, but this dude could really rhyme. I hope he picks up right where he left off. Welcome home.
