Some of my hip-hop buddies dislike this song because it’s…well, for lack of a better term…quite ‘emo’, but I’d much rather listen to heartfelt topics than some generic, stereotypical gangster ish. Jason Goldwatch did a great job on the direction for this one too.
Brand new video off Chali’s Fish Outta Water, in stores now on Decon Media. While most people know that the big homey Jake One produced this, little known fact: Sound Session’s very own J. Moore is on the background vocals on this hook. That’s riiiiiiiiight!
After dropping videos for almost every track off his excellent Layover EP, Ev is back with what I believe is the final clip for the project. As expected, this one doesn’t disappoint either. When has Decon ever steered you wrong on the visuals (or anywhere else for that matter)?

That might be the longest post title I’ve had. Anyway, we’ve been playing this track on Sound Session recently and now the mighty Decon Media crew has come through with a video for it. If you know anything about Decon, you know that nobody’s touching their multimedia work right now. Seriously, top notch. This clip is comprised of footage taken from the FRV tour (remember when I interviewed 88 Keys?) and it’ll be on a DVD/EP they’re dropping on the 14th. Cop that!
