I’m always amazed when I see/hear how dope Aloe is singing, because I used to bump his older stuff when he was really just killing it on the MC tip. What an incredible artist…and speaking of which, RIP to the King.

Kidz In The Hall – I Got It Made ’09 (video)

Naledge and Double-O were recently chosen by Reebok to remake Special Ed’s classic, “I Got It Made,” and this is the resulting video. On first listen, I dig the song and the visuals are fresh as hell. One of those videos where you can just tell they had a good time making it.

Now if you’ll excuse me, it’s back to packing for SXSW. Hopefully I’ll get to say what up to the Kidz homies down there (I’m shooting for the Fader Fort at 1pm on Friday). Should be a crazy week…

Anthony Hamilton – A Change Is Gonna Come (video)

I would imagine that everyone prefers Sam Cooke’s original version, but of all the R&B singers out today, Hamilton is one of a few that could pull this off nicely. The original is beyond classic, but Anthony does a pretty damn good job.
