If you aren’t familiar with Theo, here’s a quick interview with NENX TV that can help you learn some basic info. Be sure to download The Birth if you haven’t already!
I told y’all that I’m all about these SXSW recap clips. Chillin’ with the homies Y-O and Thurz in Austin was definitely one of my highlights, and as you can briefly see in the clip above, Theo also traveled down with ‘em. Very dope to meet another one of the up and coming MC’s in the game.
Shout to DRG Films for producing all these dope U-N-I clips recently. Remember, A Love Supreme drops on the 31st!!!!
I’m not mad against all these dope MC’s that have hit the scene relatively recently hopping on some great Dilla beats and ripping ‘em. Great stuff from the homey Theo off his mixtape from last August, which you can grab here if you’re still sleeping.
Shout to OnSmash.
Chyea. For those missing my Wack Lyric of the Day posts, this is hotter than LA sunshine. Happy now? Don’t worry, WLotD will be back soon.
But nah, for real, this is heat. In case you can’t read above, the homies Thurz & Y-O linked up with Evidence, Big Pooh, Aloe Blacc, Fashawn, Mickey Factz, Theo, and Kes Kaos for the remix to their classic “Beautiful Day” cut. Get that:
And a little Sound Session throwback in case you forgot:
Yes y’all. I was excited for 8-8-08 for two reasons (and not looking forward to it for one): 1) the Olympics kick off today (or have they already? I dunno with the time difference, I just know I’ll be watching the ceremonies tonight), 2) up and coming artist Theo dropped his mixtape The Birth for y’all to check out. This kid is dope.
