Reflection Eternal ft. Estelle – Midnight Hour (video)

Posted in Artists, Music Videos on May 8th, 2010 by Hyphen

Talib, Hi-Tek, and Estelle make an old school inspired video for their new single off Revolutions Per Minute, which drops on the 18th.  I just got word that the homies U-N-I will be joining Reflection Eternal on the RPM Tour.  See my Seattle folk at the Showbox Market on the 29th…

Kidz In The Hall ft. Estelle – Love Hangover (video)

Posted in Artists, Music Videos on September 23rd, 2008 by Hyphen

The homies Naledge and Double-O team up with Estelle for the newest video off The In Crowd.  Dope track, dope visuals, dope ladies.  See, it is possible to get good music on TRL.  Well, that is, before TRL died.

Seattle people: The Kidz will be here with Murs on October 11th @ Nectar.  Saturday night…no excuses…be there.

Estelle ft. Cee-Lo – Pretty Please (Love Me) (video)

Posted in Artists, Music Videos on August 19th, 2008 by Hyphen

Well, minus Cee-Lo.  I wonder why they couldn’t get him to appear in the video, and why on earth did Aubrey from Danity Kane make a quick cameo?  She scares me.  Anyway, dope clip from Estelle‘s highly underrated Shine album.  Seattle people can catch Estelle at Bumbershoot at the end of the month, where she’s actually one of the only artists I’m looking forward to see (her + Chester French + Brother Ali).

Pitbull – American War (video)

Posted in Artists, Music Videos, Politics on August 7th, 2008 by Hyphen

“It’s unfortunate that I have to cut a record telling the truth, at least in my opinion, about my own country and the corrupt ways it is being ran. However, on that note I want to let all the soldiers representing our country know, thank you for protecting us and may God bless you all.”Pitbull

Pitbull hops on Estelle’s “American Boy” and drops some poignant, real life ish about war. I’ve always thought Pitbull could rhyme, and I’d love to see him start doing more stuff like this. Not even necessarily political tracks, but just something with a little more substance than the typical Miami club music he pumps out.
