Figured I might as well go completely in the opposite direction from the last post, from Bronson’s almost slapstick tales from the hood record to Co$$’ heartfelt rhymes about love lost. It’s all about balance I suppose.
Anyway, this is that real life music.
Sound Session heads will recall us playing this record when it first dropped and now Paten, Tres Records, and Jerome D have linked up to create some dope visuals for it. Just that raw, genuine boom bap that we all know and love. Great stuff off Super Ramen Rocketship.

Here’s a quick video for part of Blu & Mainframe’s “J&J” track. Nothing really needs to be said when a clip is as straightforward and dope as this one. You can go crazy with overly complex visuals, but when your music is this ill, you really don’t have to. Very clean, very dope. Cop the official version of their long awaited album on September 23rd! Easily one of my favorite releases of the year.
