Oh hell yes.  As referenced here, Shad’s new album, TSOL, is on the way and I couldn’t be more excited for a project this year.  I think the only other rapper that makes me rewind for lyrics as much as Shad is Lupe, and y’all already know I’m a Lupe Stan.  If you aren’t up on Shad, don’t worry, there’s room on the bandwagon.  But um…get on NOW.

This kid Kendrick Lamar really came out of nowhere in the past year to become one of my favorite new MC’s.  He spazzed on this joint something crazy.  Shout to Dave for sending it through.

Damn…the girl in this video is hella cute.  Oh…and the song is dope too. LOOOL @ Double-O’s adlibs.

Thurzday and Y-O are back with another video off A Love Supreme 2.0, this one directed by Jerome D for “Desha Dayana.”  Freshness.

Damn, my man who doesn’t like when I post Drake stuff on the site is gonna want to skip over this one too hahah.  Not to compare the two unfairly, but Donnis does share Drake’s abilities to appeal to a nice cross-section of the hip-hop crowd.  He can rap.  He can make catchy hooks (this one is a monster).  He picks good beats.  As he references in the song…it’s a nice mixture of Kanye, T.I., ‘Kast, Jay-Z influences, combined with his own talent that shapes his sound.  I’m a fan.

Safe to say, his best video yet…Drizzy!
