Another amazing artist coming out of the UK, Kwabs, might be my favorite new voice in music. His vocals are really powerful, though they are tempered down a bit on this specific record. Great stuff.
The EP is out February 3rd.

Looks like the ASAP Mob is gearing up for another group release and this is the first offering we’ve seen from it. While I don’t expect them to follow this vibe for the whole project, I’m glad this one isn’t a trap record.
This one is straight out of ’95. And that’s a beautiful thing.
THURZ and Cali Martyr showed you can make a twerk friendly banger and still spit on this one, though I do prefer the dirty “God Damn” edit. The video dropped a while ago, but I’ve been sleeping on posting. Still one of my favorite tracks of the year and the visuals just add to the appeal.
One of my favorite new groups on the scene is London Grammar and here’s they’ve just released this video of their Kavinsky cover for “Nightcall.” Great stuff, though if we’re talking LG covers, I have to mention their epic take on Chris Isaak too:

This new video from Milosh is one of the more enjoyable clips I’ve seen in recent memory. Yes, it’s a bit cheesy, but hell, I’m a bit cheesy and I appreciate this kind of stuff. For those not familiar, Milosh is a dope vocalist and you may have heard some of his stuff from the Rhye project he released with Robin Hannibal last year.
This video was created while Milosh and his wife traveled around the globe for the Rhye tour. I’ll let him expound:
This is a video that Alexa and myself put together that is essentially a collection of footage over this past year while we traveled the Rhye record around the world. We went to 40 separate places in a span of about 6 months and we got to see some beautiful places as a result. We tried to set aside time in between performances to see things, just take them in and enjoy ourselves. We chose to use this footage for this video as it fits the whole message, the point of the song perfectly. Enjoy the opportunities now while you have them, they are not always going to be there. Traveling is one of the most important, mind broadening things one can do, being able to do that together has been beyond a blessing.
While I don’t envy most aspects of the celebrity life, this would be one. Being able to travel the world and take in new sights/experience would be amazing, especially doing it all with your best friend.
