Looks like the ASAP Mob is gearing up for another group release and this is the first offering we’ve seen from it. While I don’t expect them to follow this vibe for the whole project, I’m glad this one isn’t a trap record.
This one is straight out of ’95. And that’s a beautiful thing.
When I first peeped Rocky’s album, I actually thought this song sounded mad out of place and it was kind of a jarring switch from the vibe of the whole project. That still might be the case to be honest, but on its own, this is my jaaaaaaam. I dunno about most dub-step x hip-hop records, but when they hit, they come out sounding RIGHT. This is one of those occasions.
