For better or worse, this week’s SNSS archive is coming to you live from my “vacation,” down in sunny San Diego. In reality, I don’t think anyone in the music industry, or even anyone under about 40, takes a traditional vacation anymore, but at least I get to avoid the office for a week. Plus, the winter weather in SoCal is a bit nicer than the old Pacific NW. The hammock and the hot tub don’t hurt either…
On this week’s show, check out new music from artists like Strong Arm Steady, Outasight, Slum Village, Jay Electronica, Miike Snow, Robin Thicke, Shaun Boothe, Maxwell, Lupe Fiasco, and more. Plus, we were joined in studio by the homies Grieves and Budo, who debuted a brand new song for us and hinted at a big announcement they’ll be revealing soon. Again, more big things happening for talented cats from Seattle, you gotta love it.
