While an unofficial video for this leaked a while back, here’s the real deal. I dig this song, but something about the Greg Nice style rhyming kinda annoys me, I can’t front. Still good to see Tip coming with another album and it was dope to see him at Rock The Bells last weekend. Here’s an ill pic of Mos Def pointing out Tip’s lyrics to “Excursions” as he spit ’em. Ill.

New visuals for the lead single from Term’s upcoming Politics As Usual album featuring Bun B and DJ Premier. I’m not sure what that little digital/touch turntable contraption was, but that thing looked dope as hell. Not so dope? The contortionists at the end. That was slightly offputting. Good stuff regardless, be on the lookout for Term’s new mixtape, 50 Bodies 2, dropping soon on TermanologyMusic.com.

LOL @ the required shot of “hot girl washing low rider, ends up watering herself instead.” If that doesn’t scream west coast video, I don’t know what does. Also, I have to ask, what’s up with the random dude doing flips?
Anyway, I’m not mad at it at all. This is exactly the kind of “commercial” type joint that S.A.S. should make…something dope, catchy, and authentic to their sound. I love it. Here’s the track if you don’t already have this 2008 summer anthem:

Some dope visuals for a new video from the Now On crew (if you aren’t familiar, read up) for their song “The Willows.” This beat is too smooth…but is it wrong that the video reminded me of the Blair Witch Project? Dope regardless! Be on the lookout for Tomorrow Already dropping September 30th…
So apparently this Little X directed video for Com’s joint may not be the official version, since the BBC blog posted that Hype Williams did the real thing. In the meantime, this looks fresh to me! Even though Com has a couple shaky lines (“you’re better than that Lonnie” – Mark Jackson), I still like this song. It’s no “U.M.C. (Universal Mind Control)” though. Hopefully they decide to make a video for that too. It has so many crazy possibilities. If you need “Announcement,” here you go:

Fort Lauderdale’s Butta Verses is an honorary member of our hip-hop community here in Seattle and he recently leaked some unreleased videos to the net. Above is “Round and Round” featuring Choklate (what up Chok!) and after the jump, you can catch the visuals for “Work.” Both joints are produced by the big homey BeanOne. Neither of these songs will be on Butta’s new album, Reality BV, dropping September 16th, but look out for a video for the single, “If I Die,” coming real soon!
The Blacksmith fam just released another video clip from Talib’s last album, Eardrum, this one featuring the legendary KRS-One. Shout to Tunj and the homies for helping put together the footage of Talib and KRS at the Shrine Auditorium down in L.A.. Good stuff.
