The Audacity of Dope

Lots of great new music on this week’s SNSS, featuring artists like Girl Talk & Freeway, Mack Wilds, Andre 3000, De La Soul, Sam Smith, Disclosure, Pharrell, Carlos Santana, Miguel, Prince, Chance The Rapper, and more.  Plus, we were joined in studio by Aaron Cohen, a MC from New York by way of our fair city, Seattle, and then two of our favorite homies from the town, Grynch and Wizdom.  We doubled up on the throwback too: one for the 20th anniversary of a flawless hip-hop classic, the other for those out there enjoying 4/20.  Fun times all around.

Speaking of Seattle hip-hop, here’s the new video from the homey Wizdom, which features his childhood friend Nate Burleson…and Nate’s amazing shoe collection. Nate’s such a shoe fiend, his rap moniker is actually New Balance…or it was, when he rapped.  I’m not sure if he still gets on the mic, but dude wasn’t bad at all.  That said, his NFL career seems to be going pretty damn well, so I think we’re happy he’s staying focused there.

I’m pretty ashamed that the video for The Physics’ “These Moments” has been out for weeks and I haven’t tossed it on TAOD yet.  Better late than never though!
